Coaching

Coaching tends to focus on the present and future rather than the past. Coaches help people identify their goals and the obstacles they are facing. Like therapy, coaching involves guidance and support, but also places a great deal of emphasis on accountability, enabling people to do more than they might on their own. Coaching also aims to achieve your potential and help people individually and in organisations to deal more effectively with `change` and the challenges it can bring, whilst enhancing performance and development.

You may be struggling in the workplace be at a crossroads, uncertain of where to go next or feeling stuck.

I also specialise in maternity coaching, enabling the successful transition back to work, optimising wellbeing and confidence in the role of mother and working parent.

I help women to plan and effectively manage the lead up to maternity leave, to consider communication whilst on leave and ideal working patterns on their return. The aim is to give mothers everything they need to ‘hit the ground running’ on their return to work and that the transition is successful for all involved.

I have experience in the area of executive and management coaching and training, leadership development; improving personal and team effectiveness and executive coaching in the emergency services and multi national organisations. I believe that my experience in mental health and skills as a psychotherapist enhances my services as a coach, giving me greater insight and understanding into people’s unique situations.
